I know jack about this book series. I read the first book (which was fairly entertaining) and have seen all the movies, as my wife loves them. Being a kid of the 70s-80s, I can dig the wizard - ne Jedi - angle. And, where we had laser swords, they have wands. But, I think I'm too old to properly sync with it.So, on the way to the grocery store last night, we swung by the Borders next door. The place was tricked out for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and, let me tell ya', if I was 6-12 years old, I would have crapped my pants
with joy. "They" do a great job at marketing this thing. We had action figures, movies, and the occasional shitty holiday special. But, these guys had a bootleg fantasy world at Borders, and probably Books A Million, Barnes and Nobel, et. al. and they were having a blast. Good for them. All hail Hairy Pooter!
